Work Experience post pandemic delays

Ella, a seventeen year old sixth form student, joined us for a week in July. She worked with both the family and private client teams learning the basics of drafting Wills and attending Court on a complicated family matter, for example. 

Ella said "I want to be a lawyer. For a long time I wanted to study and practise criminal law but recently I have been more interested in family law. I changed my mind when I realised family law involves a lot more compassion and helping others throughout important life events. My first impression when arriving at Corbett Le Quesne was that it was very relaxed and had a friendly and inviting environment."

We also received a lovely message from Ella's school saying how important this opportunity has been, particularly for this year group who missed out on Trident due to the pandemic.

Ella did a fantastic job during her week with us. We hope that experiences like this make it easier for students to figure out what they want to do with their lives and find the right job for them.

We currently have a Trident work experience student with us and a paid intern joining for three months from the 17th of July.
